Camilo José Torres is an actor and writer based in New York City. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and surrounded by a rich environment, a deep love of art has defined Camilo his entire life. He's a breath of fresh air wrapped in an old sweater and baggy pants, spouting more pop culture references and allusions than you can count. Camilo has a deep passion for film, television, theater and any other form of storytelling he can get his hands on. 

Opinionated, expressive and unapologetically himself, Camilo will make a funny comment one second, then focus on a scene the next. Recently graduated from Pace University with a BFA in Acting, Film, Television, Voiceover and Commercials, Camilo is ready to share his love for the art form with every single crew member of every set he ever finds himself on. With an interest in deep character portraits and unconventional storytelling, he’s an inspired young professional. When he’s not knee-deep in a script, you can find him in a 35mm showing of an old film, exploring the city on long walks or reading esoteric novels by offbeat writers.
